2019 AIM Rapid Grant
About the Program:
The Rady School of Management program Medical Entrepreneurship Education & Training (MEET) and the Office of Innovation and Commercialization (OIC) are pleased to announce a call for applications for Accelerating Innovations to Market (AIM). These programs are designed to accelerate the translation of UC San Diego technologies to market and support the formation and growth of startups in the UC San Diego ecosystem. The funding focus is on the following areas;
- Software-based healthcare technologies
- Medical devices or diagnostics tools
- Therapeutics, antibodies & small molecules
- If not listed above, the proposal must be pertinent to some aspect of healthcare or health and medical sciences
Rady and OIC are working together to provide mentoring, resources, funding, and access to partners and investors to advance ideas from UCSD labs through feasibility projects and validation prototypes, and ultimately to scale. Programs are designed to lower the risk of technology transfer, strengthen the UC San Diego innovation ecosystem, and increase social and economic impact. Furthermore, by working together, we can pool resources, funding, and our networks of partners and investors to assist more teams and startups than ever before.
