In the fall of 2005, UCSD celebrated the opening of a new building for the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (Calit2). As an educational partner of Calit2, Sixth College presented an exhbition of student work for the Calit2 Opening Event, entitled Sixth College Resonates.
Sixth College Resonates presents proejcts that are at the center of our efforts to instill a 21st century approach to knowledge in our students. These student expressions and explorations in Culture, Art, and Technology utilize new media language to facilitate collective dialogue and experiential discussion of complex ideas in a multi-sensory, non-linear, global, interactive forum. Through these projects, students are developing a conscious, dynamic approach to 21st century culture.
